Bill is a Partner in FGMK’s Dispute Consulting & Valuation Services Group. Bill has over 13 years of experience in public accounting and the management of complicated consulting assignments. He has extensive experience in matters that require forensic accounting, fraud examination, damage computation and valuation. He has provided expert witness testimony and has assisted legal counsel and their clients in developing litigation strategies.
Bill's prior case experience includes the following:
- Economic damage computations
- Business valuations
- Tracing of funds
- Acting as a neutral accounting arbitrator
- Employee and vendor fraud investigations
- Investigation of fraudulent transfers
- Preferential payment and "new-value" computations
- Marital dissolutions

Bill’s experience includes serving clients in many industries including: real estate, construction, manufacturing and distribution, health care, financial services, professional services, governmental, insurance and not-for-profit.
Background:
Bill joined FGMK in 2004 after having spent three years with Deloitte & Touche and three years at Klayman & Korman as a Manager in their Financial Advisory Services Groups. Prior to that, Bill worked at a Chicago-area public accounting and consulting firm providing accounting, auditing, tax, litigation, valuation, and financial reporting services to clients in the manufacturing, retail, healthcare, financial services, real estate and construction industries.
Education and Training:
Bill graduated from the University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. He also graduated with distinction from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois with an MBA with a concentration in Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
