Areas of Expertise:

As an accountant and entrepreneur himself, Steve has developed an expertise in identifying tax-efficient strategies for businesses. He has charted the strategic course for many businesses as well as assisted in resolving their financial issues, negotiating loans, identifying capital needs and establishing budgets, controls and operational improvements. Steve also keeps in mind the tax-related issues of each transaction and provides clients with alternatives to minimize any tax-impact.

Background:

Steve worked with the international accounting firms of Coopers & Lybrand and Laventhal and Horwath before becoming controller of a small international manufacturing company. In 1985, he formed his own firm, Kolber, Landy & Wittert, Ltd. which grew to nine employees. In 1995, he merged his firm with FGMK and became one of the three partners on the firm's Executive Management Committee.
