Areas of Expertise:

Jim works closely with his clients assisting them in managing their business taxes and accounting functions. His broad expertise allows him to aid his clients in using their financial statements as a management tool, obtaining financing and creating budgets. He helps them plan and integrate their business and personal financial goals, always with an eye on tax issues and estate planning.

Background:

Jim started his career with a medium sized international firm (now part of Ernst and Young) and subsequently worked for a large local firm in the Chicago area. In 1978 he formed a practice, which evolved into Kach, Hartman Ltd. In November 2002, Jim along with his partner merged their firm with FGMK, LLC where he joined as a partner.
