Michael has over twenty years of experience in accounting, consulting and tax related issues of closely held businesses. He has been instrumental in assisting clients in corporate acquisitions, including the due diligence process. Ownership of his own business has afforded Michael the expertise to consult with his clients from both an accountant's and an owner's perspective.

Background:

Michael began his public accounting career in 1978 with a local accounting firm. During the following five years he obtained invaluable expertise in the financial structure of commercial real estate sales as he conducted commercial transactions at a local real estate firm. In 1983 he formed his own accounting practice, which he managed until 1989 when he merged his practice with Kach Hartman Ltd. In November 2002, Michael along with his partner merged their practice with FGMK, LLC where he joined as a partner.

Northern Illinois University, Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, 1978
