For nearly twenty years, Laura has provided accounting, tax and financial management services to closely held businesses. Her areas of expertise include tax structuring and transaction planning, strategic business consulting, financial statement reviews and compilations, operational reviews, and personal tax planning. Laura not only gives her clients creative approaches to routine issues, but she also follows up to make sure that all the necessary steps have been taken to ensure a successful result. She regularly handles consulting engagements for start-up medical practices, cost segregation reports for clients entering into new construction projects, and forecasts and projections for clients in other industries that are embarking on new business ventures.

Background:

Laura began her career at Laventhol & Horwath in Chicago, focusing on accounting and auditing of hospitals and other healthcare organizations. Prior to joining FGMK, LLC in 1999, Laura was a manager at Warady & Davis in Deerfield, specializing in tax and consulting services.
